Le Meridien Philadelphia Wedding | Jiaxi & Frank
If you’re looking for a great Philly hotel wedding experience, you will want to check out Le Meridien! Jiaxi and Frank’s Le Meridien Philadelphia wedding was truly one of my favorites!
First off, I am always a fan of everything happening in one place. From getting ready, to the ceremony, photos, reception and anything in between. In that case, you don’t have to worry about travel time or losing valuable photo opportunities. With the time we had, I was able to get a little bit of both Jiaxi and Frank getting ready since they were just floors apart. And then swiftly onto the first look at Le Meridien’s gorgeous brick atrium. And you’ll see their fur baby joined in on the fun all day long!
Photos around Philadelphia was so simple as well since everything is so close to some really great spots. The hotel is a block from city hall, which is always a great photo stop. Also Dilworth Park and Broad Street are right there as well.
Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony
I was really in awe of the whole wedding ceremony. Le Meridien’s library is so beautiful with an amazing view of city hall. And it was a perfect space for around 100 people. They first had an American ceremony which was short and sweet. Jiaxi then changed into her traditional red dress (Qipao) while her guests waited for their return. They then served tea to both sets of parents and gave the traditional gifts. Both ceremonies were officiated by a family friend.
The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and merriment. Catering and cake by Le Meridien (YUM), floral design by Beautiful Blooms, and Jiaxi’s dress was from Arielle Bridal.
