Sunnybrook Ballroom Wedding | Josh & Joanne | Pottstown Wedding Photographer

Josh and Joanne are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met! I didn’t get to know them a whole lot before their Sunnybrook Ballroom wedding this September. But that’s totally ok and luckily I did get to meet them a few months ago at the Sunnybrook bridal show. I can’t believe I’ve never shot a wedding at Sunnybrook before. It took me a whole 3 minutes to get there! I live just down the street, any closer and I would be in their backyard.

This summer wedding at Sunnybrook was a scorcher. It wasn’t even THAT hot temperature-wise but it was sooo humid. Being outside for 20 minutes doing photos and the whole wedding party was dripping with sweat. (Sorry ladies and gents! But it was so worth is because we got just enough awesome photos of everyone.) That plus the saturated ground with so much rain this summer and the executive decision to move the ceremony inside was made. Most usually hope for an outdoor wedding but it was a smart choice. No one’s heels would have survived the soggy ground.

Josh and Joanne’s Sunnybrook Ballroom wedding was filled with so much love. They had family come from near and far and it was truly a heart-warming celebration. The ballroom was decorated simply but elegantly, and the florals completed the look. I’m also super happy that we were able to sneak outside for a few minutes right before sunset to get some more portraits of the couple.
