Winter Wedding at The Baldwin School
What an amazing winter wedding at The Baldwin School Carmen and Aaron had just over a week ago! I absolutely LOVE The Baldwin School. I have done shoots there before but I have been so excited to photograph Carmen and Aaron’s the Baldwin School wedding for over a year. These two are so nice, so down to earth and very organized – which made my job super easy when planning. This was a morning/daytime wedding so I was even home in time to have dinner with my family. How amazing is that! I am just so happy to have spent their day with them to capture such special memories.
If you don’t know about The Baldwin School, it’s a seasoned but also up and coming historic venue located in Philadelphia’s Main Line area of Bryn Mawr. From the red facade full of shapes to stone walls to little nooks of greenery – this is truly a unique venue. And don’t forget about the iconic main staircase inside, perfect for family photos. Carmen and Aaron even did their first look on these grand steps. This was something they were VERY excited about for photos, and I have to admit I was excited as well!
The story of Carmen + Aaron’s love
Carmen and Aaron met climbing in Buffalo, NY. Carmen and Aaron went on an outdoor climbing trip and this blossomed into a relationship. They did the long distance thing for some time after that,. And then when Carmen moved to Philadelphia, Aaron followed. Aaron proposed on a hike in Wissahickon Park. Carmen’s bridesmaid Paige was there to share the experience with them. The proposal at the local brewery, Wissahickon Brewing. (Keep an eye out for the cool local brewery coaster table “cards”.)
